contradiction?

have you wondered.
whether we, 16/17 year old people, are considered young, or "old" alr?
in our parents' mind that is.
thought about it before?

when we ask for a little more money from them,
they say ,"you so young, need so much money for what!"

but when we don't do our chores,
they say ,"so old alr still dont know how to fold your own clothes!"
obviously doesnt apply to pampered kids la!

contradictory, yes.

we're forever still kids in our parents' mind,
they say they care, but do they really?
they say they listen, but will they?
they say they're there for you always, but isn't work more important sometimes.

i'm not refering to my parents, at least not for all of the above.
just what i feel now.

but THIS is talking about my parents.
i just got an upgrade of internet, comes with a free wireless router.
only collectable in a few days though.
has to be collected from "bencoolen street",
i have NO IDEA where that place is, at all?
and my dad wants me to collect it myself,
and his reason for not going there himself?
after work there will be a jam at that area.
wow, such a good reason?
what about saturdays? sundays even.
when you go fishing or something,
forgo some time, go and get it?
okay never mind.
i'll find the place myself.

so there proves it,
im "old" enough for everything alr huh?

you're just like HIM,
doing things and not knowing you irritate the hell out of the other guy.
and no, this doesnt have to be known by my dad.
its just how i feel now.
